Mashed potatoes

Serves 6. You can make potato cakes tomorrow morning with the leftovers.

  1. Peel potatoes and place in pan of cold water
  2. Salt the water lightly
  3. Bring to boil then boil for ~20 mins, until stabbable
  4. Into collander, leave to steam for a few minutes
  5. Back into pan, add milk/cream and butter
  6. Mash. Salt and pepper to taste.
